MacArthur students move mascot statue to softball field in senior prank

Officials at MacArthur High School said three students took things too far when they sawed the legs off the school mascot earlier this week.Northeast Independent School District spokeswoman Aubrey Chancellor said administrators noticed the damage Tuesday morning.The school’s mascot, a Brahma bull that stands in the school courtyard, was sawed off at the legs and moved to the softball field.Surveillance video showed three students take the bull and try to put it in car, but it was too big. Instead, they moved it to the field.”It was meant to be a senior prank, but it really did go too far.
