Man accused of shooting girlfriend, burning car sought by US Marshals

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who allegedly shot his girlfriend and burned her car.Robert Tovar, 25, is wanted by the United States Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force for having an active arrest warrant involving aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, authorities said.A warrant was issued for Tovar’s arrest earlier this week after he allegedly shot his girlfriend in Atascosa and later burned her car, according to U.S. marshals. The victim managed to escape and was listed in stable condition.Tovar was last seen Wednesday on the Southside of San Antonio. U.S. marshals said
