Accused captor shot after victim breaks free, police say

A man was shot early Wednesday morning after he tied up two people in his Southwest Side home, San Antonio police said.Police said two people were visiting a friend at the home in the 3100 block of West Gerald when the homeowner woke up. He got into a verbal altercation with the two visitors, tied them up and pistol-whipped them, police said.One of the victims broke free and grabbed a gun when the captor left the room, police said.
